Predicting The 2015-16 UCLA Basketball Regular Season Record
Mar 23, 2014; San Diego, CA, USA; UCLA Bruins mascot performs in the second half of a men
NOVEMBER
-Nov 13 vs Monmouth – W, 1-0
-Nov 15 vs Cal Poly – W, 2-0
-Nov 19 vs Pepperdine – W, 3-0
The Bruins should be 3-0 after their first three games at home against lesser opponents. The one that should give UCLA trouble is Pepperdine who was 4th in the West Coast Conference last season going 18-14, 10-8. One of their more notable games was a 78-76 loss to the eventual conference champion Gonzaga. Expect a slow start by UCLA and a big finish in this game before they head to Maui.
Maui Invitational
-Nov 23 vs UNLV – W, 4-0
-Nov 24 vs Kansas or Chaminade – L, 4-1
-Nov 25 vs Indiana or Wake Forest or Vanderbilt or St. John’s – W, 5-1
Hopefully UCLA learns from their less-than-stellar performance in last year’s Battle 4 Atlantis. The Bruins clearly had a chance against Oklahoma in the first round but failed to adjust resulting in a loss. The next day they got massacred by North Carolina, but eventually found a victory which came against UAB.
the Bruins will have their hands full with UNLV and former recruit Stephen Zimerman but will be victorious having the more talented team. I doubt Chaminade beats Kansas, so that should be a UCLA loss in the second round with (hopefully) a bounce back win on the final day.
-Nov 29 vs CSUN – W, 6-1
