In this edition of What’s Bruins 2 – The Game review, we recap the UCLA-Colorado game which saw the Bruins edge out the last place Buffaloes, 35-31. Yes, it is a “W”, but there were a lot of things that went wrong which we discuss.

In this latest episode of What’s Bruin 2, hosts Jake Merrifield and I dive into the The Game that Was between the UCLA Bruins and the Colorado Buffaloes. UCLA needed a comeback to counter a comeback by Colorado in order to win this game and we get into the many factors that contributed to it.

From the start, Colorado controlled the line of scrimmage and the time of possession which wore down the defense. It also did not help that the Bruins were unable to move the ball on offense except for Paul Perkins, who was one of the few bright spots on UCLA.

Additionally, the Bruins sustained even more injuries in this game which limited their play-calling, effectiveness and even forced the Bruins to burn a redshirt.
