8. UCLA at Cal, 17-42 (2012)

It was another “welcome to Division I college football” game for freshman Brett Hundley as he went up to Berkeley with the Bruins sporting a 5-1 record. Unfortunately, the lowly California Golden Bears were ready for this game, especially on defense.

Cal had picked off Hundley four times, even though the Bruin freshman had 2 TDs and 253 yards, it was not enough as the Cal offense passed and ran all over the Bruins for 480 yards of their own. It was another lackluster display which, unfortunately, UCLA Football would duplicate several more times in the next two years.

Though UCLA has beat Cal twice since, it was definitely a wake up call losing to the weaker big brother.
