The Utes have an incredibly intriguing non-conference schedule. They have arguably the first big game of the college football season, and all eyes will be on them. If Utah can spoil Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan debut, poll voters will be impressed. The in-state battle with Utah state should also be fun to watch, and then a grudge match with a Fresno State team looking to return to its status as premier mid-major will make for good TV.
Utah’s season will be decided in the first 7 games. If they escape the first 7 games with a winning record, the Utes could be a force to be reckoned with later on.
