Junior ace James Kaprielian was selected with the 16th overall pick by the New York Yankees. Last week, I provided a brief scouting report for FanSided’s Yankees blog, Yanks Go Yard, which I’m positive was instrumental in the decisionmaking process of the Yankees’ front office. Given the Yankees’ pitching needs, Yanks Go Yard is hopeful that Kaprielian can sign soon and move quickly through the system, perhaps earning a spot on the major league roster early next season.
