SC Beaten! UCLA Clinches The BMW Crosstown Cup Over USC
The year-long competition between UCLA and USC known as the BMW Crosstown Cup has concluded with the Bruins ending the season victorious! With SC beaten, this continues to prove that UCLA runs L.A., but everybody knows that. UCLA currently leads 95-85, with the possibility of one game remaining.
It is possible that the competition ends in a tie, but according to UCLABruins.com, if the Bruins and Trojans meet again in the NCAA College World Series, with a USC victory there would be a five point switch tying the competition at 90. But with the Bruins having won more head-to-head games, giving them the tie-breaker, the BMW Crosstown Cup is heading to Westwood!

UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero had this to say about the achievement:
"I am extremely proud of our UCLA student-athletes and coaches for the hard work and dedication it took to help us capture the SoCal BMW Crosstown Cup. Congratulations to all on a job well-done and Go Bruins!"
