Eddie Vanderdoes – Defensive End

If Clark and Vanderdoes head to the NFL Draft, then UCLA is in a bit of trouble with the defensive line the following year, yet that is a different story in which we will have to analyze depth and recruiting, but for now let us talk about the talented EV.

Vanderdoes is a big, scary guy (especially with face paint). He is not a pass rusher but more of a run stopper which he does efficiently and with results. Last season Vanderdoes was 8th on the team in tackles with 50, had five and a half tackles for a loss, two sacks, 1 pass break up and 1 forced fumble. That is some natural talent a lot of NFL teams are looking for.
