Let us start the list of the soon-to-be NFL eligible players that could have the talent to jump to the pros early. Though we would hate to see these players go, you can not deny how much talent these players have and if it in their best interest, they should head to the draft. Still, an extra year to play for the Bruins would not be bad. Anyway…
Ishmael Adams was incredible in his sophomore year as a kick returner and a cornerback. On KRs he showed the country early in the season that he was a threat as he averaged 22.7 yards per return. One of those went 100 yards for a touchdown. It is just unfortunate that teams caught onto that and stopped kicking the ball in his direction, though it has not stopped him from trying.
On defense, he was a solid corner for the Bruins. He can lock down receivers, disrupt routes and get his paws on the ball. He finished the year with four passes broken up and two interceptions (one of which he returned 95 yards for a touchdown). Needless to say, this guy is a DB teams will in the League are going to look at very carefully.
