4. The Goings-On At The Spring Showcase

Aside from the team in a glorified practice, the Spring Showcase is also an event for the whole family. Lately, spring games have been a less serious affair than actual regular season games. It is a time for programs to have a little bit of fun whilst giving fans a little taste of what is to come in the Fall.

The players will definitely be performing and trying to impress the coaches one last time before things get going again in August, but also it is a chance for the fans to get together and celebrate the awesomeness that is UCLA Football. We already know about some of the things that will happen at the Spring Showcase like free posters, a Wooden Athletic Fund event and a chance to meet the players, but what will happen with the Showcase itself?

Last year, Mora split UCLA football into two teams, essentially having the first-team offense and the second-team defense, go against the first-team defense and the second-team offense. This is important because it will give fans a better idea of who will be commanding the team next season.
