His first drive was penalty-laden as the first two plays resulted in flags being thrown. Three plays later a third flag was thrown and Rosen’s passes was intercepted, though the offensive coaches debated with the referees at practice that the receiver caught it and was down before it was stripped away.

Aside from that, he ended his first drive with a 10-yard TD. His second drive ended with not being able to get into the end zone.

As far as mechanics, the thing that stood out about Rosen was his ability to evade the pass rush and get into a clearing to make a solid pass. The kid has a cannon for an arm, for your information. It does not look like he has an arc to his passes, but more like he throws the ball on a frozen rope.

Rosen got a third drive when he came in for Woulard. Though it was a run-heavy drive, (8 runs and one incomplete pass), Rosen lead the offense to a score with running back Craig Lee doing most of the rushing.

In skeleton drills Rosen was on target with several passes and was clearly the second best QB running these drills behind Neuheisel.
