Day 2 of UCLA Spring Practice is complete and though there is not a lot of new information coming out of Westwood, there is plenty to wet your whistle.

Technology Brings Spring Practice To You

The Bruins are using something new this year as you can now check out parts of the UCLA Spring Practice via the Periscope App. With this app, fans can take a live look in at some of the drills that UCLA is running. This is a great app for those of you that cannot get enough football (although we do our best to bring you the latest information).

Quarterbacks

On Monday, head coach Jim Mora had talked about the three-player quarterback competition and how they would cycle them and only focus on two QBs in each practice. With Jerry Neuheisel and Asiantii Woulard being the focus on Tuesday, freshman QB Josh Rosen was more in the mix today. Though there was nothing big to report, today’s practice was used to see how Rosen did in drills.

Recruits at Practice

With the coming of UCLA Spring Practice also brings the coming of big recruits. Here is a quick look at some of the rceruits that graced UCLA’s practice with their presence.

New Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley Talks

We finally got to hear from new UCLA defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley as he gave his first impressions about UCLA, Los Angles and the 405 freeway. Here is a brief overview of his post-practice comments:

  • Excited for the multiple schemes, will run different formations.
  • Using a clean slate to analyze the defensive players.
  • Confirms that Myles Jack will be used for multiple assignments, but staying at inside linebacker.
  • Will look to heavily recruit back east where he has a lot of connections.
  • Apparently the 405 freeway bugs him considerably.
