Some unfortunate news has come out of Westwood as the UCLA football program has suspended one of their best recruiters, assistant coach Adrian Klemm. The news came out this morning as Pac-12 analyst for ESPN Kevin Gemmell tweeted out the news this morning.
UCLA has released a statement about the situation:
"UCLA was recently made aware of alleged NCAA rules violations involving Adran Klemm, a member of the UCLA coaching staff. UCLA immediately reported this information to the NCAA and to the Pac-12 conference and has placed Klemm on suspension with pay.UCLA will continue to work jointly with and cooperate fully with the NCAA while this matter is being reviewed and to protect the integrity of the process, will have no further comment at this time."
No matter if this is a minor infraction or a serious violation, the bottom line is that it is not good for the UCLA football program that has been relatively squeaky clean in the Jim Mora era.
It is unknown exactly what Klemm did or what consequence he may face but for now, it does not look good for Klemm.
