Owamagbe Odighizuwa is a great looking football player that leaves scouts and other NFL personnel salivating. His massive frame and strength combined with his speed and quickness give him great potential as a Defensive End in the NFL in either a 3-4 or 4-3 scheme. He has long arms, good hands and great quickness off the ball to get either inside or outside of blockers. Although he did not rack up giant statistics while a Bruin, he looked good whenever he was on the field with both run and pass responsibilities.
Owa’s biggest challenge during the draft process will be convincing teams of his durability. He missed the entire 2013 season at UCLA due to two hip surgeries. If he can assuage those fears before the draft, Owa Odighizuwa could possibly be picked on day one.
Look for Odighizuwa to be drafted sometime on Day 2 (2nd/3rd Rounds) with a chance at the 1st round.
