The on-line betting site Bovada recently came out with their list of 31 players that are the early favorites to win the Heisman Trophy in the next college football season. The Pac-12 leading rusher in 2014, UCLA‘s RB Paul Perkins, is among the top 10 early frontrunners in 2015 to win the trophy for the best player in college football.

Last season, the redshirt sophomore had ran for 1575 yards in 251 attempts which averaged out to a conference best 6.3 yards per carry and 121.2 yards per game. Perkins also ended the season with 9 touchdowns.

Perkins is a 12/1 favorite to win along with USC QB Cody Kessler and Georgia RB Nick Chubb. Only Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott (6/1), Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott (7/1), LSU RB Leonard Fournette (7/1) and TCU QB Trevone Boykin are favored ahead of them.

Along with Paul Perkins and Kessler, ASU‘s D.J. Foster, Oregon‘s Royce Freeman, Cal‘s Jared Goff, Arizona‘s Nick Wilson and Scooby Wright are the other early favorites emerging from the Pac-12 Conference. As it seems, it will once again be an exciting year in Pac-12 Football. We sure cannot wait!
