MOOB! Carlos Strickland Has NOT Committed To UCLA, The 4-Star WR Is Headed To Cal
In what some thought was a surprise turn of events, it turns out that 4-Star wide receiver Carlos Strickland has NOT committed to UCLA, but instead, has committed to the Bruin’s brother from up north, the California Golden Bears. Though a report came out from a different UCLA sports site that Strickland was heading to Westwood, we are here to tell you that those claims are indeed false and the Dallas Skyline product will be playing up in Berkeley the next four years.
As fantastic as it would be to have Strickland on the Bruin roster, we can tell that Cal is getting one heck of a football player. The 6’5″, 194 lbs. receiver is a great athlete that has incredible hands and will reign terror on opposing secondaries. Not only is he a tall specimen, but also uses his big body to bowl through his opposition for extra yards. Definitely a miss for UCLA, because he did NOT commit to the Bruins.

Speculation is that Strickland started to favor Cal after UCLA got a surprise of their own when fellow Texan, Ryan Newcome committed to the Bruins last week. Though UCLA could have used Strickland, the Bruins are also stacked with talent at the WR position, including returners Jordan Payton, Devin Lucien, Devin Fuller, Eldridge Massington and Mossi Johnson, just to name a few.
So once again, CARLOS STRICKLAND HAS NOT COMMITTED TO UCLA.
