UCLA Bruins
In Episode 52 of the What’s Bruin Podcast, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I talk about football, give out the second annual What’s Bruin Football Awards and talk about “just like football” with UCLA basketball talk. Just because football season is over does not mean that talking about it is over, oh my, NO! At least not at What’s Bruin.
We start things off with talking about the UCLA basketball team that has had quite a turn of events in their last few games. Not only did they beat a tough Stanford team, but also made a fools of Cal and USC… just like football.
We then give out awards to the football team in the 2nd Annual What’s Bruin Award ceremony! It is a lot less casual than we make it out to be, but still, find out who was the best of the best this past season… listen now!
We also give a little preview of our next episode which will be a special National Signing Day show on February 4. FYI, we want Chris Clark.
We then finish up with MORE FOOTBALL! We give a summary of the National Championship Game in the College Football Playoffs where Oregon did not win their first NC (Bill is sad). Then we go into Super Bowl XLIX where the Seattle Seahawks will take on the New England Patriots. FYI, we are more excited for the two Bruins on each team than the actual teams.
