Six Bruins Selected In The National Women’s Soccer League Draft
As if a season full of success was not enough, the UCLA Women’s Soccer team had some more good news as six Bruins were selected in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) draft on Friday, the most from any school in the nation. To make things even sweeter, the three Bruins were taken in the top four. How about that for some talent!

After a very successful 2014 campaign that saw the Bruins go 21-1-2, hold onto to the overall #1 ranking all season long and break several records along the way, six Bruins are now moving on from UCLA to start their professional careers.
Though Morgan Brian of Virginia was the overall #1 selection for the Houston Dash, UCLA was the hot choice for the next three selections as Sarah Killion, Abby Dahlkemper and Sam Mewis were taken #2, #3 and #4 in the first round.
