Ishmael Adams’ Big Day Out
Imagine being Ishmael Adams. It is probably very similar to being a bullet train. In 2013, we got a glimpse of what UCLA’s defensive back could do on kick and punt returns as the Bruins were down a few players. After volunteering late in the year, it seemed UCLA had their man.
Early in the season, we got a good look at the man in action. Though he had a kick return called back against Virginia due to a penalty, Adams returned the favor against Arizona State in September . Not only that, he returned and interception 95-yards for a touchdown. To quote the movie Coming To America, “That boy is good!”
