Here at Go Joe Bruin, we like to make friends and over the past year we have been fortunate enough to talk to other sports lovers, bloggers, podcasters and even a few athletes to present their views on a wide range of topics, mostly involving UCLA sports. Today we got a chance to talk to sports analyst Mark Rogers of MarkRogersTV about UCLA football’s up-coming game against the Kansas State Wildcats in the Valero Alamo Bowl.

In this chat, Mr. Rogers and I discuss an array of topics surrounding Bruin football heading into bowl season. We start off by talking about how the season is perceived after achieving a 9-3 record and go into what the reality of UCLA football is going into the Alamo Bowl. Part of that discussion goes into what Bruin quarterback Brett Hundley and linebacker Eric Kendricks‘ roles will be for this contest, especially after a tough loss to Stanford in the final game of the regular season. We then finish up with talking about the actual game and what UCLA has to look forward to in their contest against Kansas State.

If you have not already, please check out Rogers’ work as he has a lot of great information on his site that covers all of college football. We are very glad that he reaches out to us to discuss UCLA football and look forward to working with him more in the future!
