Arizona State controlled their own destiny at point late in the season. Then a nasty trip to Corvallis, Oregon saw the Sun Devils stumble to a lowly Oregon State team that only recorded five wins this season. They then had a final chance to win the South Division when UCLA lost to Stanford. Unfortunately, they also lost to in-state rival Arizona and was pushed further down the Pac-12 ladder. Now they get to play in a bowl that is not as prestigious as the some of the others they were longing for, but hey, it will still be a tough football game and if they want to end on a high note, they have to get through ACC darlings Duke. Can the Sun Devils bounce back from a frustrating end to the season or will there be another team of Devils that thrives in the Sun?

Prediction: Arizona State 42 – Duke 35
