After a 9-3 season (6-3 in conference), the #14 UCLA Bruins are heading to San Antonio, Texas to take on the #11 Kansas State Wildcats on January 2, 2015 in the Alamo Bowl. After a long day of waiting to see what teams will be placed in the first ever College Football Playoff, the Valero Alamo Bowl had made it official by announcing Bruins and Wildcats as their selections for their post-New Year’s Bowl.

Despite not being selected for one of the four major non-playoff bowls, the Bruins will be playing in a game that will not only get them national attention, but will also have them facing a tough K-State team that went 9-3 overall and 7-2 in conference and was third behind potential College Football Playoff teams Baylor and TCU. As mentioned above, the game is on January 2 and will be at 3:45 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Stay with Go Joe Bruin as we will be carving up and dissect this game from now until kick-off! Go Bruins!
