After a complete game on both sides of the ball from the UCLA Bruins (8-2, 5-2) in their drubbing of the Washington Huskies (6-4, 2-4) 44-30 in Seattle, your boys in the blue and gold now move up to #14 in the AP Poll and up to #15 in the Coaches Poll. The Bruins finally put together some consistent play to become the team UCLA fans had hoped they would and those efforts paid off as they move up four spots in the Associated Press’ latest poll.

After nearly shutting out the high-powered Arizona Wildcats last week, UCLA continued to show their potential in their harassment of the Huskies. The Bruins had put together an impressive performance on both sides of the ball, something that has not been seen since the Arizona State game. Because of that, UCLA was rewarded with a proper ranking.

Additionally, with Oregon’s win over Utah, they clinch the North Division and have booked their ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, December 5 in Santa Clara, California at the new Levi’s Stadium. Who they play from the South is yet to be seen as there is still a tight race between five schools that could go all the way to the last weekend of the regular season to be decided.
Isn’t college football great?
