12. Washington State Cougars (2-6, 1-4)

Washington State’s biggest flaw came back to haunt them once again as the high-powered Arizona offense wrecked the Cougars. Early in the game, their offense was no match for a while defense as they did not score until the Wildcats put up 31 points on them. Washington State has not looked like the team that almost took out Oregon a few weeks ago. What was an impressive defensive effort then, has been lost. Things do not get any easier for the Cougars as they have yet to play USC, Arizona State and Washington.
