In Episode 40 of the What’s Bruin Podcast, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I get into a lot of things that made us scratch our heads about UCLA’s 30-28 loss to Utah. It gets very fiery when we bring up coordinators and the perceived inability to make changes on both offense and defense. It was a lively, but fun debate.
We then get into the Oregon game and ask if the Bruins have any chance against a team that seems to have the same offensive line woes as UCLA does. Following that, we then get into Pac-12 talk and discuss the shift in the conference landscape and if the Bruins still have chance at the Pac-12 Championship Game.
I was also fortunate enough to interview former UCLA cornerback Aaron Hester as the Sports Illustrated RV Tailgate that took place in the Fan Zone just outside the Rose Bowl before the Utah game. He talks about his best memory at the Rose Bowl, what he has been up to lately and the direction of the #BruinRevolution. Go Bruins!
We also have a contest… what is it you ask? You will just have to listen to find out!
