Oh yeah, the Bruins like it hot! Despite the temperature in Tempe, the Bruins will come with heat of their own. Additionally, isn’t this just an 80s-tastic song and video?

There are going to be many hot boys on the field tonight, but who will prevail with a cool head and get the “W”? Your Bruin boys, that’s who!
3. “Thursday” – Morphine
In honor of a Thursday night game, you bring you one of the best songs ever written about the day before Friday. Although, it is mostly about other stuff.

5. “Fire” – Gavin DeGraw
There is a fire Bruin underneath UCLA and it starts with trying to extinguish the Sun Devils. Now is the time to do it as ASU is going with their back-up QB. So Bruins… ATTACK!
6. “Hot Mess” – Cobra Starship
So it is kind of funny because of the situations both UCLA and ASU are in with their quarterbacks, so really, which team is more of the hot mess? Either way, UCLA looks to clean up and start conference play at 1-0.
7. “The Heat Is On” – Glenn Fry
I brought in a song from an iconic 80s movie to drive home the point about how important this game is. I think it explains the situation well between UCLA and ASU very well.
8. “This Fire” – Franz Ferdinand
Tempe, you are going down! UCLA is going to burn this city, burn this city! But not really, because that would be arson.
9. “Boogie Nights” – Heatwave
What a great song for a night game and by a band call Heatwave, of all things. Get your boogie on Bruin fans!
10. “Psychobilly Freakout” – Reverend Horton Heat
Who gets hotter than the King of Rockabilly? No one, that’s who! All praise the Reverend!
11. “Heat Of The Moment” – Asia
Well Asia, I believe there will be many moments of heat. It just comes down to who can control that heat and focus on the goal… the almighty “W”.
12. “Sin” – Nine Inch Nails
Come on now! It is a devil themed playlist, of course “Sin” by Nine Inch Nails would be on this! Let us just hope that UCLA doesn’t commit too many sins in the form of yellow penalty flags.
13. “Hell” -Squirrel Nut Zippers
To finish off our playlist, we look to a genre that had people dancing a dance they had not danced in many years. The neo-swing movement brought us this fine song, but not many others. I blame the movie
