In Epsiode 38 of the What’s Bruin Podcast, Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield, guest host Jamaal Artis and I discuss the up coming Thursday night “revenge” game between Arizona State and UCLA. This is not the contest everyone hoped for at the beginning of the season which leaves many questions in regards to this game and we tackle them all in our ASU preview.
How will Arizona State do without Taylor Kelly? We get to the bottom of that! Will UCLA play or not play Brett Hundley? We analyze all angles! And what is up with Kush Field at Sun Devil Stadium? I guess trying to be the best party school of all time means you party everywhere!
Still, we get into the positives and negatives that could affect the Bruins as they avenge their painful loss at the Rose Bowl last year. One that cost them the chance for a second year winning the Pac-12’s South Division.
We then get into the epic meltdown that Cal football graced us with as they lost to Arizona on a Hail Mary. Jamaal, a Cal alum, breaks down (to put it nicely) his alma mater’s “football” team.
