As Red Leader says in Star Wars: A New Hope, “Almost there.” Day 10 of UCLA fall camp has finished and leaves only one day left in San Bernardino, which will consist of a scrimmage and a fan appreciation event. Just one more day until the Bruins head back to Westwood. Not that they have been waiting to leave San Bernardino, it is that it has been quite brutal… and they have been waiting to leave San Bernardino.

The Bruins got the day off on Thursday to rest and relax. It was a much needed affair that gave the players one day to catch their breathe before they finish strong in the desert.

The day off must have really helped players recover from injuries because several Bruins should be back by the time they get to Westwood.

In football, it is all about getting every inch of the game squared away. Special teams were up today.

Coach Jeff Ulbrich raps about the defense… and how awesome they are.

Final Notes

If you are going to the desert for the final practice at Cal State San Bernardino, keep in mind it will be 100 degrees. Go Bruins!
