At this point in time, you could say that UCLA football is better than USC. Unless they are Trojans, the majority of those you ask might agree with you. The thing is, it is USC. Rankings, award nominations, bowls and even the Pac-12 do not matter in this game. There is only one goal: beat the living snot out of your cross town rival.

Everyone in Los Angeles gets up for this game. Houses will be divided, friends will be enemies and UCLA or USC will have bragging rights for another year. That will always make this game scary… for both teams. Although, there is something to be said about home field advantage as this game will be played in the Arroyo Seco. That alone could be a factor, especially since the Bruins are looking to win three in a row against the transitioning Trojans.

Make no mistake, here at Go Joe Bruin, we wholeheartedly believe UCLA win be victorious over USC. But still, it is the Trojans, which means the Bruins are going to need to come into this game claws a-blazing!
