With the 22nd pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, UCLA’s Jordan Adams was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies. Adams was the second Bruin chosen in the draft behind Zach LaVine who is heading to Minnesota. Adams was the leading scorer for the Bruins last season with 17.4 points per game and led the Pac-12 in steals with 2.6 per game. His skill set should fit in nicely with the system that the Grizzlies are working and even though it will be a few years to develop his talents, he has the ability to step in for Memphis (with limited minutes) next season.

#UCLA has produced multiple first-round #NBADraft picks for the 9th time in program history (No. 13 Zach, No. 22 Jordan). #GoBruins

If you are wondering why Jordan Adams went #22, it's because he can play. Many guys who can jump flop because they can't shoot. #GoBruins

Clear now though that Jordan Adams made the right decision to leave for the NBA. Stock wasn't getting higher than 22.

Wow Jordan Adams a 1st-rounder! His decision to leave early looks pretty good right now! Go #UCLA #Bruins!

Jordan Adams "is not a great defender" but set the single-season UCLA steals record.

Jordan Adams to Memphis. Never thought he would go to MEM but he'll be a great floor spacer and great length will mesh w/ defensive identity
