Washington State Cougars

Predicted Finish: 5th

Record: 3-9 (overall), 1-8 (Pac-12)

The Cougars had a high-flying offense last season, almost void of any sort of running game. That will continue as Head Coach Mike Leach looks to attack the Pac-12 with his deadly air-raid offense. Quarterback Connor Halliday had the second most passing yards in the Pac-12 last season (4597), but also the most interceptions (22). If the Cougar QB can limit those turnovers, he should have the offense surprising people. The big issue with Wazzu is their defense. Last season they showed that they could improve late into the season. Hopefully Leach can continue that momentum in 2014.

Key Game Predictions: vs Rutgers (Win), at Nevada (Loss), vs Cal (Win), vs Washington (Loss)
