The UCLA Women’s tennis team has just captured their second National Championship, which brings UCLA’s grand total to 111 NCAA Championships. The #5 Bruins beat the #7 North Carolina Tar Heels 4-3 in Athens, Georgia. This was after blanking the Florida Gators 4-0 in yesterday’s Semifinal match up.

The Bruins were led by Kaitlin Ray, Kyle McPhillips and Chanelle Van Nguyen in their final push with McPhillips finishing it off.

Congratulations UCLA Women’s Tennis, you are indeed the best team in the nation! Go Bruins!
