Celebrate With UCLA Football For National Signing Day Festivities

There is a whole day of events scheduled aside from the whole day of events that will occur on Wednesday, February 5^th for National Signing Day! UCLA is looking to have another big class full of top-notch recruits and they want to celebrate with you, Bruins fans!

Things will start early, as ESPN will be reporting live from campus all day. Reporter Shelley Smith has the mic for the sports machine’s on-the-scene updates. You can check here for a list of UCLA recruit announcement times.

AM 570 Fox Sports Radio’s “Petros and Money Show” will also be on campus as they will be broadcasting their show live from 3-7 p.m. on Bruin Walk near Pauley Pavilion.

Then, as the fax machines start to wind down, the celebration and festivities start. Bruin Report Online (per their Free Board) will have their 9^th Annual Signing Day celebration with guest appearances by a few of the UCLA coaches. It is a Happy Hour event, so come hungry and come thirsty. The event is set to take place from 3:30-6p.m. Barney’s Beanery is at 1037 Broxton in Westwood.

Then to top it all off, the UCLA Athletic Department and the Wooden Athletic Fund will host a celebration at Pauley Pavilion at 7 p.m. Head Coach Jim Mora, his coaching staff and the football team will be there to recap an exciting National Signing Day. The event is free and kid friendly. Bring a camera, because you are going to want to capture this event in your UCLA photographic history.
