UCLA Baseball: The only thing that can stop UCLA is the FREAKING RAIN

facebooktwitterreddit

No. 9 UCLA baseball has taken the collegiate baseball world by storm, rattling of 12 straight wins against the likes of top-tier teams such as then-No. 9-ranked Georgia, Baylor, #FUSC and No. 11 ASU. If we aren’t one of the best teams in the nation, we should be.

And you cannot stop UCLA baseball. You can only hope to contain them. So while No. 11 ASU wasn’t likely to beat us after we handed their asses to them on Friday, it looks like we’ll be contained, thanks to the damn rain. From UCLABruins.com:

Lame, dude. We were already polishing our lucky number 13 W’s.

It’s understandable, though. At the time of writing this, it is wet as hell outside, with the rain unlikely to let up for a few hours. Too bad I’m stuck studying, otherwise I’d be out there splashing in puddles with you guys.

So while I can knock on baseball, mentioning how dumb it is because you cannot play in the rain (thus becoming a total prat in the process), I won’t, because I know how most Angelinos are.

Anyway, the teams will wind up playing a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium. So if you had excuses not to go, you better be there this time around.

GO BRUINS.
