Go Joe Bruin has long been the home of the “What’s Bruin Show” but we’d also like to introduce the “UCLA B Team” podcast. On this latest episode we review the NBA draft, LaVar Ball and his wrestling appearance and we recap the latest in UCLA Football recruiting.
Just to give you folks a little backstory on the “UCLA B Team” podcast, it is hosted by GJB site co-expert Michael Chavez and GJB contributing writers, Nathan Eberhardt and Michael Hanna.
This week Nathan and Hanna reviewed last week’s NBA draft where Lonzo Ball was selected second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. He wasn’t the only Bruin to be drafted from this year’s team. Both TJ Leaf and Ike Anigbogu were taken by the Indiana Pacers with the 18 and 47 overall selections respectively.
The other big story of last week was LaVar Ball making an appearance on WWE’s Monday Night RAW. The boisterous Ball was his typical self and was able to use his major network platform to help give his Big Baller Brand more exposure.
Finally we wrapped up our show by talking about the recent UCLA Football commitments and what they might mean for the future of the offensive line and the program as a whole.
