A report from Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports has confirmed that UCLA Football QB Josh Rosen is out for the season.

Fox Sports has reported that the UCLA Football will indeed be without starting quarterback Josh Rosen for the remainder of the season.

Bruce Feldman broke the story on FoxSports.com earlier today. He added, “Whether he needs surgery will likely be determined on Thursday when he gets an MRI and further evaluation.”

So that is it Ladies and Gentleman. Rosen’s second act is over. Now he needs to rest and recupaetate for what should be his final season with the Bruins.

Rosen had injured his shoulder back on Saturday, October 8 against Arizona State. In the final quarter on a drive that could have tied the game, the Sun Devil pass rush broke through the Bruin offensive line as three players chased down and sacked Rosen. The UCLA QB landed  on the shoulder and remained on the ground writhing in pain.

Rosen has not played a single down since. Back up Mike Fafaul has replaced him the last two games. UCLA lost both games.

Currently UCLA is 3-5 and looking to get bowl eligible. With UCLA having four games remaining on the schedule, including tonight’s game against Colorado, the Bruins will only have three chances to become bowl eligible.

Needless to say, it will be a tough feat.
