UCLA Basketball guards Isaac Hamilton and Bryce Alford receive All-Pac-12 Honors for the 2015-16 season.

Despite a losing season, two UCLA Basketball players have received end of the year honors as junior guard Isaac Hamilton was named to the All-Pac-12 second team and junior guard Bryce Alford was named as an Honorable Mention.

Both Bruins had led the UCLA Basketball team in scoring with Hamilton leading the way with 17.1 ppoints per game, which was also good for the third best in the Pac-12 Conference. Alford was second on the team with 16.3 points per game.

Part of what propelled Hamilton to receive a second team honor was the fact that he scored in double-digits in 27 straight games, often meeting that feat in the first half of several contests. Additionally, Hamilton averaged 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Hamilton was often counted on as the spark plug for the Bruins. If UCLA had trouble starting strong, Hamilton often got things going early for the Bruins.

Alford himself added 5.3 assists per game, which was second best in the Pac-12. As the primary point guard, Alford was the main distributor and as UCLABruins.com references, Alford is the first Bruin since Earl Watson to have 100 assists in his first three years.

This is the first time since 2012 that a UCLA Basketball player has not made the All-Pac-12 First Team. For the full list on All-Pac-12 honorees, click HERE.
