After the incredible and controversial UCLA win over SMU Thursday afternoon, quick shooting Point Guard Bryce Alford joined the Petros and Money Show on AM570LA Sports Radio to talk about the game.
Regarding the much argued over goaltend at the end of the game, Alford said the play was “kind of what we drew up” but it obviously “didn’t turn out that way.”
After he took the off balance 3 point attempt, he “saw the shot veering right” and then a “big hand came up [to snatch it out of the air].”
Regarding University of Alabama Birmingham, the Bruins next opponent, Alford said the Blazers are a “scrappy team” that “plays the game the right way.”
