Spring practice has barely gotten off the ground for UCLA and there is already bad news. Last years standout freshman Eddie Vanderdoes has a broken bone in his foot, and will miss the rest of spring ball. Vanderdoes was likely going to be a centerpiece of UCLA’s defensive unit, but a poor recovery could mean otherwise. On the positive, he has plenty of time to make said recovery.

Also making headlines is that offensive lineman Torian White has not and seemingly will not enroll at UCLA for the spring quarter. Head coach Jim Mora said that White is no longer with the team — it is undisclosed as to why, but we do know that White was suspended late last season after being accused of sexual assault. During that time, White was not practicing due to a broken leg. You can expect more on this as time goes by; For all your news, analysis, and updates, be sure to check back in at Go Joe Bruin.
