Brett Hundley is coming back to UCLA. Word broke on the Twitterverse early Sunday morning with “sources” stating the Bruin quarterback would be returning to Westwood for his redshirt junior season.

This is great news for the Bruins as it gives the UCLA offense consistency to go along with the recent success they have had in the last few months. Not only has head coach Jim Mora stated over and over that he is staying, but now so is his quarterback. New running backs coach Kennedy Polamalu is on board to help improve the running game and offensive line coach Adrian Klemm will continue his fantastic job of bringing along his young, but now experienced, linemen. Jow much better can this be? Hundley had finished this season just like the last, with a lot of numbers to his name. This season, he passed for 3071 yards, 24 TDs and 9 INTs as well as rushed for 748 net yards and 11 TDs. He completed 248 out of 369 passes (67.2%), which made him the 16th most efficient quarterback in the nation. UCLA, I think you have a keeper.

Will Hundley make your Monday morning a good one? With all the speculation, it is very possible. Another good question: Is it August yet?
