OVERALL GRADE: D

Bob Stanton-US PRESSWIRE

It’s tough to give the entire UCLA defense a “D” due to the secondary’s horrid play, but you don’t allow nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns to Zach Maynard, and you don’t let just two wide-outs beat you all game. You don’t let a coach who will likely be fired at the end of the season destroy you by targeting the most obvious weakness you have.

You don’t do these things, if you’re to pass for a half-good defense in the Pac-12 or, hell, the FBS.

Hopefully, these things don’t happen again.
