All I can really say is, wow. We’ve been waiting to have a QB like this for so long and we finally have it, and it feels so good. UCLA’s Brett Hundley‘s numbers are ridiculous: 1480 yards, 66.1 completion %, 11 TDs, 3 INTs and 4 rushing TDs.

Let me remind you, this is a RS freshman. That being said, the PAC has great QBs: (Matt Scott, Arizona)  (Marcus Mariota, Oregon) (Sean Mannion Oregon State). Hundley is top 3 in total QBR (QB Rating) and touchdowns. Right now, I’d say he’s number 2 behind Matt Scott, call me crazy, but Matt Scott is absolutely ridiculous.

Hundley has been nothing but impressive, leading us to a 4-1 record. He has a great supporting cast: the Mayor, Johnathan Franklin. When Franklin is busting loose, it makes things 100% easier for Hundley. His pass to Darius Bell in the back of the endzone was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. The offense gives him a lot of options, throw the option pass to Manfro, go deep to Shaq Evans, or to keep it himself. His footwork is something else, he can make many things happen and he avoids sacks with his athleticism. The kid just isn’t phased by anything, he’s calm, cool and collected. Brett always plays with a chip on his shoulder, he never tries to go all out, he lets the game come to him. He rarely forces things.

He has shown that he can keep the ball rolling, consistent passing yards and a very solid TD-INT ratio. I do think that he will keep the stellar play up and lead us to a victory at Berkley. If you look at other QBs in the PAC like Matt Barkley, he has forced things this year, 2 INTs against Stanford and 2 against CAL. Can you say “overrated” ’cause I sure can! Many of these QBs have a high number of INTs, Hundley has kept that number low. We need to take a step back and admire Brett “Savior” Hundley, we have him for three years and it looks very bright, so make sure you get sunglasses because the Bruins are coming for you! BOOM!
