2015 Alamo Bowl: The Bruins run wild on K-State
Not only did Jim Mora seem to have the program built up by the 2014 season, but he also still had his quarterback. Brett Hundley was back starting for the third straight season and he finished his career with a win in the Alamo Bowl, 40-35 over Kansas State.
Hundley only went 12/24 passing in this one and finished with just 136 yards and a touchdown, but Paul Perkins carried the offense for him. Perkins ran for 194 yards and two scores on only 20 carries. Hundley also added 96 yards and two rushing touchdowns of his own.
The Bruins finished this season 10th in the AP Poll and 14th in the College Football Playoff Rankings. Jim Mora’s team reached as high as eighth in the CFP rankings, but sadly, this season was the peak of the Jim Mora era.
