Athlon Sports, like College Football News, has predicted that UCLA will play against Oklahoma in the Valero Alamo Bowl. Why are two publicans picking the Bruins to play the Sooners in the Alamo Bowl? Both publicans have UCLA being a popular pick among bowls and the Alamo has the third pick according to Pac-12 bowl rules, the Alamo bowl will get the first pick of the remaining eligible teams after any conference teams were selected for the College Football Playoffs (Rose or Sugar Semifinals) and or the  New Year’s Six Bowls: Cotton, Fiesta and Peach bowls.
