UCLA Outlook/Bubble Watch

At this point, the question for the Bruins is, can we still make the tournament without winning the Pac-12 Tournament? At this point, most people are assuming the answer is no, which is fair, considering we’re 15-14 and 79th in RPI.

If I could ask for only three boxes not to be red, it would probably be wins, losses, and RPI. But it’s not all bad for the Bruins; they still have a great strength of schedule and four top 50 wins. If UCLA can sweep the Oregon schools this week and make the championship game in Las Vegas, the Bruins could still win an at-large bid.

That would give the Bruins a record of 20-15 and about seven top 50 wins. Add their strong schedule to that and committee might just not be able to say no to UCLA.
