UCLA Football: Foster Farms Bowl Photo Essay

SPOILER ALERT

I’ve now attended five UCLA bowl games in my life:

1994 – Rose Bowl – Wisconsin – Loss

1999 – Rose Bowl – Wisconsin – Loss

2009 – Eagle Bank Bowl – Temple – Win

2012 – Holiday Bowl – Baylor – Loss

2015 – Foster Farms Bowl – Nebraska – Loss

Even the Eagle Bank Bowl was miserable because it was so cold (sub-20 degrees), and they were losing. We decided to pack up early and head out at halftime. We made it home in time to drink some cocoa in front of a fire in our basement and catch the second half comeback win by the Bruins. Leaving that game was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

On the way home on Saturday, my wife suggested we take a break from attending bowl games for a while. I’m inclined to agree with her.
