2. Stanford at UCLA, 31-10 (2014)

There was so much promise going into this game. Instead it turned out to be the continuation of a pattern for the Bruins not to be able to beat the Cardinal.

UCLA needed a win in this game which would put them back in the conference championship. UCLA did not win the game.

Stanford did what they always do as they chewed up clock and wore down UCLA. They were once again tougher and the Bruins could not do a thing about it. It was really quite painful.

That was a long walk back to the car for Bruin fans after that game. And the day after Thanksgiving, too.
