What’s Bruin Show – Episode 134 – NBA Draft, UCLA Football recruiting and Under Armour pricing
In episode 134 of the ‘What’s Bruin Show’ we are back from our break to recap a month’s worth of information including the NBA Draft, UCLA Football recruiting and those horrible Under Armour prices.
In this latest episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I recap the last few weeks regarding anything and everything UCLA sports. Basically, there is a lot of pent up aggression.

and the transition to Under Armour, which elicits a very strong reaction from all of us (especially Bill).
We start the show talking about several former UCLA Basketball players that were either taken in the NBA Draft or made it onto summer league teams.

Lonzo Ball, TJ Leaf, Ike Anigbogu, Jonah Bolden, Bryce Alford and Isaac Hamilton are all onto the next chapter of their lives and we hope they can all become successful, but will they find a place with their new squads?
We then dive into some UCLA Football as we get prepared for the 2017 season (which is under two months away). Is Mora on the hot seat? Where will UCLA end up next season? How has recruiting been going this cycle? We tell you!
We then talk about the transition and response to Under Armour taking over as the apparel provider for UCLA. UA had unveiled their new line of apparel for UCLA with a few changes. Though the changes were expected, one of the biggest issues was pricing, which did not make a lot of Bruin fans happy.
It really did not make us happy, especially Bill who had a few things to say about Under Armour, especially in regards to students having to paying outrageous prices. Will this improve or are we to see the same kind of nonsense for the next 15 years?
