With UCLA making the switch from Adidas to Under Armour, Go Joe Bruin went to a source in the Athletic Department to try and find out when the new UA UCLA Football jerseys will be revealed.

If you want proper information, just go right to the source. That is what I did yesterday when I was inquiring about information on the new UCLA Football jerseys.

This summer, UCLA switches apparel providers from Adidas to Under Armour, which means there will be changes to the array of classic UCLA sports uniforms (but hopefully not much).

So with that in mind, I went right to a source of UCLA information as I asked Senior Associate Athletic Director for the UCLA Athletic Department Josh Rebholz via Twitter when the UCLA Football jerseys will be revealed.

Now that is some top notch investigative reporting.

So there you have it folks. The new UCLA Football jerseys will be revealed close to, if not on July 1. In July, UA will be taking over as UCLA’s apparel provider after landing the largest deal in college sports history of $280 million with the AD.

More from Go Joe Bruin

With that in mind, all eyes will be on UA and what they will bring to the Bruins for the next several years. Hopefully they bring UCLA into the future, but also keep the traditional styles that has made the UCLA brand so iconic.

Now I was not specific with my question about which uniforms will be revealed, though it seemed implied that I was asking about football, so I am wondering if the big reveal will also include uniforms for the rest of the teams in the Athletic Department. Both basketball teams, baseball, softball, gymnastics and the rest of the 23 total UCLA sports.

Either way, there will be much excitement surrounding the coming of Under Armour to UCLA. Let us just hope they keep the shoulder stripes intact.

And can we please have gold football pants and not yellow? And also, please, do not do anything close to Zubaz for the basketball uniforms. And can we get some UCLA soccer kits in Ackerman Union? Thanks!
