Father of UCLA Basketball point guard Lonzo Ball and overbearing self-promoter LaVar Ball lost a 1-on-1 game vs. Michael Jordan… in video game form.

You know him. You [fill in the blank] him. He is LaVar Ball, father of UCLA’s superstar freshman Lonzo Ball.

He is not only the genius behind Big Baller Brand, but also the greatest basketball player ever… if you believe his growing rhetoric.

Ever since Lonzo arrived in Westwood, so has his father’s voice which has spoken so loud that it has gotten the attention of several basketball experts including Charles Barkley.

Some of LaVar’s statements have been outlandish, to say the least, but a few are just plain ridiculous.

One of the most abrassive comments recently came when the former 2-points per game (at Washington State) Ball who said that in his prime, he would beat Michael Jordan, arguably one of the best players of all time (although he is no Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).

Today, Sports Illustarted put that claim to the test as we got to see LaVar Ball vs. Michael Jordan.

Before things got going, SI stated that LaVar never played pro ball, so he was given a “55” rating, similar to lowest rated player in the NBA (by way of 2K video game ratings).

After all the numbers were put into pace, the game commenced and it was not even close.

As expected, Jordan routed Ball in this simulation, 11-3. Though it might be a bit of a larger margin of victory in real life, it is proof that LaVar is not exactly what he says. Even for a quick laugh. Keep on rocking, LaVar!
