What’s Bruin Show – Episode 119 – UCLA Basketball Sweeps, UCLA Football Preps (For NSD)

In episode 119 of ‘What’s Bruin Show’ we take a look at UCLA Basketball after their road sweep and prep for National Signing Day with UCLA Football.

In this episode, hosts Bill Shirley, Jake Merrifield and I are going strong with a double-dose of Bruin sports as there is plenty of UCLA Basketball and UCLA Football news to go around.

Normally we would skip a week in basketball season but since there is actually stuff to talk about, we are getting deep into what Bruin hoops are doing.

For example, UCLA Basketball captured their first road sweep in the Steve Alford era with big wins over Colorado and Utah. We had to talk about that, especially after Bryce Alford’s 37-point performance.

We then Preview the Bruins tough home stretch against Arizona State and Arizona.

And for you UCLA Football fans, we have plenty to talk about with coaching changes and recruiting heating up.

Former O-Line coach Adrain Klemm was fired this weekend and get into what this means for the team and the coaching staff. And with National Signing Day only two weeks away, we look at where recruiting is for the Bruins. Hint: it’s looking up.
